KILLIE are gearing up for a summer friendly with Wolverhampton Wanderers in the close season.
The Championship side, who are currently chasing a play-off position, are expected to come to Rugby Park for a pre-season game on Saturday, July 26.
Kilmarnock chairman Michael Johnston said the Wolves fixture had not quite been confirmed, but he was confident it would go ahead.
He added: “This would certainly be a game to look forward to in the summer.”
Wolves are managed by former Republic of Ireland gaffer Mick McCarthy, who has just narrowly missed out on the Championship manager of the month award for March.
